  1. 2cents says:

What is Tegerdine’s stance on “No Child Left Behind” which was passed under George W. Bush? What, if any, plans does he have to pursue the federal funding that was promised, though not received by the many states, so that each state can be in full compliance with the federal law? (Many cash- strapped districts are now even more cash-strapped due to NCLB not being funded as it should have been by the federal government)
Will he seek to have NCLB rewritten or redesigned so that it can actually be an attainable education goal?

  2. AKD says:

How do you think you are different from any other Republican or Democrat running for office or that is in office? Will you be just another member of the Party of No or are you able to think for yourself and do what is right for the State of Mississippi even if it goes against the dictates of the Party you are affiliated with?

  3. Jughead says:

Why aren’t you a liberal Democrat instead?

Would you tell us one specific vote that Gene Taylor has made that went against the wishes of the majority of this district? Would you be willing to buck Republican leadership as often as Mr Taylor has Democratic leadership when it was in his judgement better for the district to do so?
